PUBLIC HEARING:

Solicitor Evashavik reported the Borough received a request for consideration for an Inter municipal Transfer of a Liquor License from Blazin Wings, Incorporated.  The request is to transfer a license from another municipality into West Mifflin Borough for a Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant.  He said that it is a prerequisite of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board that Council conduct a Public Hearing after which Council may make a motion to approve or disapprove of the transfer.

Solicitor Evashavik opened the hearing for public comment.

Paul the Regional Manager of Buffalo Wild Wings stated that they are proposing to open a restaurant at 9996 Mt View Drive.  He said they are a full service family restaurant with 750 locations which typically has 125 employees at each restaurant. He also said they plan to be open by October.

Mr. Andzelik questioned if there would be any controversy as to whether it is in West Mifflin since the location borders Pleasant Hills.  Mr. Anthony said the property is definitely located in the Borough, however that area has a 15236 Zip Code.

Hearing no other comments, Solicitor Evashavik closed the Public Hearing.
