Bill Smith 2013 Ohio Avenue comments regarding Agenda Item A were that he had requested information on all the proposals that were submitted and his request was denied and questioned why a resident would be denied this information. Solicitor DiLucente stated he is entitled to fill out a Right to Know Request, however Council had to act very quickly and they did it properly by contacting all the surrounding EMS providers. Craig McDivett 6901 Wilson Street commented on Agenda Item A stating that he supports whatever Council decides as long as the residents are taken care of. He said his main concerns were location of the ambulances and subscription rates.
Steve Marone 441 Livingston Road commented on Agenda Item A questioning whether Baldwin EMS was to be temporary or permanent. Mr. Munsie replied that the Solicitor recommended using the term temporary until the final written agreement is signed by both parties.

- Motion by Munsie, seconded by Andzelik to nominate Baldwin EMS as temporary EMS provider pending a final written agreement for the Borough of West Mifflin as of February 12, 2011 at 7:00 a.m. Under remarks, Mr. Munsie indicated that the subscription rate would be $50 for a single person and $75 per household. He also reported that they plan to lease a building on Route 885 and they have agreements to locate an ambulance at two of the Volunteer Fire Companies. Mr. Plunkett of Baldwin EMS stated that the building on Route 885 is a possibility and they are continuing to explore other locations and until they can find a permanent location they have the agreements with the fire companies that can be utilized. Mr. Kostelnik commented that he feels the Jefferson Hills EMS is a better choice. Mr. Stephenson stated that the committee which consisted of Mayor Kelly, Mr. Andzelik and Mr. Munsie had the safety of the citizens as their priority and he would honor their recommendation.
